Teal M Parham

Teal was born and raised in the Puget Sound area. She graduated from Olympic College with an AA in 1986, and from the University of Washington with a Baccalaureate of Arts in Business Administration in 1988. Moving south in part for the sunshine and large legal market, Teal earned her juris doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center in 1992. Following law school, Teal worked as an attorney for the Social Security Administration’s Office of Hearings and Appeals in Long Beach, California. Realizing that the Pacific Northwest is home, she moved back to Washington in 1997 and began working in Longview advocating for the injured and disabled. Teal’s practice is now exclusively focused on representing individuals before the Social Security Administration and federal courts in the Western District of Washington. She has argued thousands of cases before the Social Security Administration and over a hundred cases in US District Court.
Teal is a sustaining member of the National Organization for Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR) since 1997. She is a member of the Cowlitz Wahkiakum Bar Association, the Washington State Bar Association, and the US District Court for the Western District of Washington. Teal is married with two children, and in her free time plays chauffer to her children and their various activities. She enjoys cooking and baking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
